French artist creates Star Wars depictions in Dubai
Latest images from Dark Lens trilogy are to go on display in London as part of a show entitled ‘Dubai: Futures’

The latest images are to go on display in London as part of a show entitled Dubai: Futures, which is designed to spark debate on the city and emirate.

The images have been on display at the Empty Quarter gallery in Dubai’s DIFC, and they’ve drawn large audiences. The images are exceptionally lifelike, with one depicting an At-At Walker (from The Empire Strikes Back) appearing out of the gloom of a sand storm, looming over an interchange on Sheik Zayed Road.

Cedric Delsaux lives and works in Paris, France. After studying cinematography and journalism, he worked as a bookseller and then as a conceptual-editor in an advertising agency.

He has been selected to work on several large automobile advertising campaigns, including Volkswagen, Touareg, Peugeot, Renault Espace, Citroen, Skoda, Adrexo, EDF, Viking and SFR. Delsaux was also selected in the Luerzer’s Archive as one of the ‘200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide’ in 2006.
