Dubai’s booming real estate sector sees more than a billion dollars of sales and mortgages in a single day

Dubai’s real estate market recorded more than $881m of property deals on Thursday, according to data from the city land department.

The transactions included 508 sales, worth AED1.33bn ($362m), in addition to 101 mortgage deals of AED1.66bn ($452m), and 135 gift deals amounting to AED247.57m ($67.4m).

The sales included 463 villas and apartments worth AED993.46m ($270.5m), and 45 land plots worth AED340.07m ($92.5m).

Dubai real estate deals

The mortgages included 80 villas and apartments worth AED1.6bn ($436m) and 21 land plots valued at AED64.42m ($17.5m).
