Dubai to Sharjah commuters will see congestion cut and traffic eased, following the completion of a new road project in the UAE.
A new 600m lane and additional parking have been added to a key road connecting the two cities.
Sharjah’s Road and Transport Authority said it has successfully concluded a traffic enhancement initiative on Al Ittihad Street.

The additional 600m is connected to Al Kholafaa Al Rashdeen Bridge.
Sharjah RTA implemented modifications to the service road pavements and included parking spaces.
The traffic improvement measures were undertaken to address the infrastructure requirements of road users and assist Sharjah’s burgeoning population.
