Dubai Summer Surprises 2023 will see concerts, shopping promotions and seasonal activities, organisers have confirmed.
The annual celebration, organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) will run from June 29 to September 3.
With the Emirates Astronomy Society forecasting Eid Al Adha 2023 to begin on Wednesday, June 29 it means this year’s Dubai Summer Surprises will begin at the same time as the Islamic holiday.

The full line up for the 26th edition of the annual summer celebration will be revealed on June 20, but there are already details of activities coming soon.
As usual the city has lined up a range of family activities, live music performances and a host of shopping deals and big prize competitions.
Music stars Hussain Al Jassmi and Kadim Al Sahir will start Dubai Summer Surprises with a night of the biggest Arabic music at the Coca-Cola Arena on July 1.
Al Jassmi is one of the most popular singers in the Arab World, while Al Sahir, who has sold more than 100 million records around the globe, is known as the “Caesar of Arabic Songs”.
Saudi music star Mohamed Abdo will perform at the same venue the following night.
One of the most recognised vocalists and oud players in the region, Abdo is popularly known as the “Artist of the Arabs”, and tickets are now available for his DSS gig.
Dubai Summer Surprises will see a raft of giveaways, raffles, competitions and big-ticket prizes.
Among the prizes already revealed for this year are a Nissan X-Trail 2023, A 2023 Mercedes-Benz A200 and AED100,00.
