The UAE has expanded its unified government services platform, Work Bundle, to include a new suite of Domestic Worker Services, cutting red tape and enhancing efficiency across key employment processes.
The new services — available through the “Work in UAE” platform — include issuing, renewing, and cancelling residency visas for Domestic Workers, as well as medical examination services.
All processes are now accessible through a single digital interface.
Customers can complete residency procedures by filling out a standardised electronic form, uploading identification and passport details, signing contracts digitally, arranging medical examinations, receiving results, and obtaining Emirates IDs and residency visas, all without in-person visits.

Launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) in collaboration with several federal entities, the move aligns with the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme — a national drive to eliminate unnecessary procedures, elevate customer experience, and boost competitiveness as a global hub for living and working.
Khalil Ibrahim Khoori, Undersecretary of Labour Market and Emiratisation Operations at MoHRE, highlighted the collaboration among partners and the alignment with the national vision.
Khoori said: “This initiative satisfies the requirements of the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, in line with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum”.
He added that the Work Bundle’s success continues the achievements of previous launches, including Domestic Worker Services via the Invest in Dubai and DubaiNow portals, confirming the UAE’s leadership in digital government and artificial intelligence integration.
Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director-General of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security, described the Work Bundle as “a pioneering model for integration and cooperation among government entities.”
He said the unified approach strengthens the UAE’s leadership in public service, “streamlining the customer journey and offering fast, convenient, and secure services.”

Al Khaili added that the new system “cuts down the number of channels and steps” required, improving quality of life and reducing burdens on both residents and government bodies.
“Adding Domestic Worker Services to the Work Bundle serves a large segment of UAE citizens and residents,” he said, noting that the integration preserves the rights of all parties involved.
According to the MoHRE, the Work Bundle platform now provides a unified, seamless user experience, with a single application form and shared payment system across multiple government entities.
Users only need to enter data once, significantly reducing paperwork and documentation requirements.
Backed by advanced data exchange and integration technologies, the system connects with national digital infrastructure such as the Government Services Bus (GSB) and UAE PASS, enabling proactive, secure, and user-centric service delivery.
