Ghassan Aloshban is a seasoned investor and entrepreneur currently working as a General Partner at Emkan Capital. He is a Saudi national with extensive experience in leading successful business investments across KSA, UAE, and Asia.
Ghassan is also Board Member at his family office, Wareef United. In his capacity at Wareef, he restructured the operational model and spearheaded the successful addition of multiple new streams of revenue. Beyond his operational role, he managed the growth and development of several portfolio companies and firmly established the angel investing arm of the office.
Ghassan began his career at Aramco where his work in strategy at the Long Range Planning Department gave him the opportunity to work closely with Aramco’s senior management, the Saudi Ministry of Energy, as well as OPEC. He also worked in consulting with Booz Allen Hamilton where he focused on renewable energy across the GCC.
Ghassan graduated from Amherst college with degrees in Economics and Computer Science and continued his education at Harvard Business School where he focused on international entrepreneurship, VC economics, and business valuation.
