An experienced consultant in economic development, FDI, trade, and Special Economic Zones, Ricky is Head of Consulting, Middle East, for OCO Global.
Ricky has a Masters Degree in Economic Development from the University of Manchester in his home country of England. His career as an analyst and consultant has taken him around the world, from the UK to the Middle East and Africa, with flagship projects including supporting host country preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2022, preparing for the UK’s exit from the European Union, and supporting the global response to the Ebola pandemic in Sierra Leone.
Ricky moved to the UAE to join OCO Global in 2021. Since then, he has worked with governments and international institutions across MEA. He now works with a number of countries within the region on FDI attraction and trade promotion, and he is currently supporting Saudi Arabia’s mobilisation of its transformative Special Economic Zone program.
