Selim Kervanci, Chief Executive Officer, Middle East North Africa & Türkiye, HSBC Bank Middle East
Kervancı was appointed Chief Executive Officer for Middle East, North Africa and Türkiye (MENAT) at HSBC Bank Middle East in January 2025 where he is responsible for the Group’s operations across nine markets in the region, comprising Corporate and Insitutional Banking and International Wealth and Premier Banking services.
Selim has over 28 years’ experience in banking and finance having joined HSBC in 1996. Prior to his current role, Selim was Cheif Executive Officer of HSBC Türkiye where he oversaw the Bank’s transformation. His tenure at HSBC includes senior leadership roles in the Middle East and across disciplines, including investment banking, client coverage, capital markets and advisory. Selim currently sits on the board of HSBC Bank Middle East Limited.
A graduate of Istanbul Technical University, Department of Electrical Engineering, Selim holds a master's degree in Business Administration from Vrije University in Brussels.
