Eid Al Etihad: UAE declares two-day private sector holiday for National Day 2024

UAE residents will resume work on Wednesday, December 4.

The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has confirmed a paid holiday for private sector workers on December 2 and 3 to mark the country’s 53rd National Day.

The announcement follows a circular issued by the Ministry, which implements the Cabinet’s decision on official holidays for public and private sectors in 2024.

The Ministry extended congratulations to UAE’s leadership, citizens, and residents on the occasion.

UAE announces public sector holiday

The UAE Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has also declared a two-day holiday for the nation’s 53rd National Day celebrations for the public sector.

Federal government staff will observe the holiday on December 2 (Monday) and December 3 (Tuesday).
