UAE Royal Family: Sheikha Latifa announces birth of baby girl

UAE royal Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has announced the birth of a baby girl.

Sheikha Latifa, daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, made the announcement on social media on Sunday.

Sheikha Latifa married Sheikh Faisal bin Saud bin Khalid Al Qasimi in 2016 and the couple already have two children.

The message on social media revealed the new baby’s name as Hind bint Faisal Al Qasimi, with a message saying “We were blessed today” and the date of birth listed as May 14, 2023.

Earlier this year Sheikha Latifa’s brother, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council also announced a new addition to his family.

In a message to his more than 15m Instagram followers, Sheikh Hamdan revealed he has become a father to a baby boy named Mohammed.
