Sheikh Mohammed toured the arena and was briefed on the latest projects at the exhibition.
Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, visited today the Cityscape Global at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, who inaugurated the three-day Cityscape Global on Monday, accompanied the Dubai Ruler to the event. Present during the visit were, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, HH Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Jumaa Al Maktoum Al Maktoum, Director- General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai H.E. Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, and H.E. Helal Saeed Almarri is the Director General of Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing. Nearly 300 real estate companies and representing 16 countries are participating in this annual event in its 16th edition. His Highness lauded the lifting of restrictions on direct sales of properties by exhibitors for the first time since 2008, a move which opens up a compelling list of options for prospective buyers visiting the influential real estate event and ultimately invigorates the property market and incentivises the private sector. His Highness welcomed the countries and companies participating in the global event which he said opens up the gate for more fruitful partnerships and enterprises between Arab and foreign investors, tapping fresh markets for UAE businesses and creating more job opportunities for youth from different parts of the world.
