Classic cars a hit at Bonhams’ sixth Dubai auction

Bonhams held its sixth auction in Dubai on Monday night. This BMW 3.0 CSL sold for $218,400.

The auction made more than $4.4m, with 65 percent of lots sold.

This BMW M1 was one of the two lots from the carmaker’s museum collection. It sold for $264,000.

The auction night also had sales of modern and contemporary art and watches.

Bonhams said it has laid the foundation for further motor car auctions here in the UAE.

Visitors check out the catalogue. The auction was open to any member of the public.
