Eid Al Adha 2023: UAE announces AED704mn pension distibution

UAE retirees and beneficiaries will receive their pension payments on Friday, according to an announcement made by the General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA), ahead of Eid Al Adha.

The GPSSA is determined to prioritise customer satisfaction and ensure contentment during the upcoming Eid holidays.

The June 2023 pension disbursement amounts to AED704.107 million, marking a significant increase of AED54.049 million compared to the same period last year.

Moreover, the number of beneficiaries has risen by 1,565 individuals, bringing the total count to 46,569 for this month.

These expenses cover both civilians who fall under the provisions of Pension and Social Security Law No. 7 of 1999 and beneficiaries whose files are managed by the GPSSA on behalf of the Ministry of Finance.
