Etihad Airways has cancelled flights between Beirut and Abu Dhabi in response to “ongoing regional developments”.
The airline said it will suspend its UAE to Lebanon flights on Tuesday, September 24.
In a travel update on its website it said: “Etihad Airways has cancelled its services to and from Beirut on Tuesday, September 24 in response to ongoing regional developments.

“Flights affected are EY535 from Abu Dhabi to Beirut (BEY) and EY538 from Beirut to Abu Dhabi.
“Guests booked on these services are being assisted with their travel arrangements.
The airline said it is monitoring the situation across the region and continues to maintain close contact with authorities, adding “The safety of our guests and crew is our number one priority and we regret any inconvenience caused by this cancellation”.
