UAE real estate developer RAK Properties has begun construction of its latest residential project – Gateway Residences II – in Hayat Island in Ras Al Khaimah.
The company, which is also a tourism infrastructure developer, held the groundbreaking ceremony for the project on Wednesday.
Offering a unique waterfront lifestyle, RAK’s new project is a cluster of low-rise residential complexes.
Mohammed Al Tair, the acting chief executive officer of RAK Properties, said the company’s move to launch the new project followed the substantial success of its earlier project, Gateway Residence I.
“It was only natural that we continue developing on the iconic Hayat Island to allow families and investors to indulge in the luxurious lifestyle in the area,” he said.
Gateway Residence II, situated within the Mina Al Arab community in the heart of Ras Al Khaimah, will have upscale one and two-bedroom apartments.
The project is in close proximity to Anantara Hotel & Resort, InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa, and numerous retail and fine dining options.
