Industry leaders have shared their condolences and warm, heartfelt thoughts about the UAE President, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who passed away on Friday, May 13.
“I extend my deepest condolences on the occasion of the passing of the UAE’s leader, President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nayhan,” Ali Sajwani, the general manager of Operations at DAMAC, said.
Sajwani added: “He was a beloved leader who understood the importance of the social contract between the ruling family and the people and always had their best interest at heart.
“Under his tenure, the UAE made leaps and bounds both economically and socially and we are forever indebted to his leadership, which has made this country the shining success that it is.”
Dr Azad Moopen, the founder chairman and managing director of Aster DM Healthcare, also shared his condolences on behalf of the group.
“We are deeply saddened by the demise of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE. He was a visionary leader who led the UAE to be one among the most prosperous countries in the region,” Azad Mooped said.
“Sheikh Khalifa was a people’s person and his love for the people of his country, both the citizens and expatriates has been legendary. He was silently effective in creating an atmosphere of peace and harmony among the multiple nationalities living here. May God bless his soul.”
The industry leaders shared their deepest condolence to the members of the Royal family and the Supreme Council stating that the UAE President Sheikh Khalifa’s teachings will be an inspiration for generations to come.
