Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority announces school holidays for Eid Al Adha

Dubai has announced official 2023 Eid Al Adha school holiday dates for private schools in the emirate.

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) made the announcement on Wednesday.

In a tweet published on its official account, the KHDA said schools would be closed from Tuesday, June 27.

Schools will re-open on Monday, July 3, meaning pupils and staff have a six-day holiday for Eid Al Adha.

The message said: “Do you know what you should always have before a long summer holiday? A shorter holiday!

“Schools will be closed for Eid Al Adha from Tuesday June 27, opening again on Monday July 3”.

The holiday is in line with what has been announced for public and private sector workers in the city.

Earlier, the Government Department of Human Resources said that Eid Al-Adha and Arafat Day for government employees will fall on Dhu al-Hijjah 9 and continue until the Dhu al-Hijjah 12 1444H, corresponding to the Gregorian calendar.
