UAE MBRHE and EDSA sign new MoU to empower people of determination

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Emirates Down Syndrome Association (EDSA) to support and empower people of determination.

The agreement aims to develop joint programmes, including workshops and training, to prepare individuals for the corporate work market.

It also includes plans for awareness events on disability issues and the rights of people of determination, the Dubai Media Office (DMO) said in a statement.

Thilal Khalifa Al Falasi, Assistant CEO Corporate Support Sector at MBRHE, and Dr. Manal Jaroor, Chairperson of EDSA, signed the MoU.

“We are proud of this partnership with the Emirates Down Syndrome Association, which reflects our firm commitment to supporting all segments of society, especially people of determination. This initiative is not just a Memorandum of Understanding, but an important step towards building a more inclusive community. We believe in the importance of empowering people of determination and actively involving them in social and economic life. Through this partnership, we look forward to making a long-term positive impact and enhancing our contributions to providing a supportive and progressive environment for people of determination,”Al Falasi said.

Dr. Jaroor further highlighted the significance of the collaboration, stating it would enhance efforts to serve and empower people of determination and develop innovative support programmes.
