The Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Emirates Down Syndrome Association (EDSA) to support and empower people of determination.
The agreement aims to develop joint programmes, including workshops and training, to prepare individuals for the corporate work market.
It also includes plans for awareness events on disability issues and the rights of people of determination, the Dubai Media Office (DMO) said in a statement.

Thilal Khalifa Al Falasi, Assistant CEO Corporate Support Sector at MBRHE, and Dr. Manal Jaroor, Chairperson of EDSA, signed the MoU.

This initiative is not just a Memorandum of Understanding, but an important step towards building a more inclusive community. Dr. Jaroor further highlighted the significance of the collaboration, stating it would enhance efforts to serve and empower people of determination and develop innovative support programmes.
The partnership is expected to facilitate knowledge exchange and the adoption of global best practices in supporting people of determination, aligning with the UAE’s efforts to achieve social integration and provide an inclusive community environment.
