Dubai-based ayurveda brand Qaadu makes debut amid MENA beauty, personal market boom

The GCC stands out with its high per capita spending of $250 within the category

Qaadu, a premium brand specialising in ayurveda, plant-based, and cruelty-free beauty and wellness products, has launched in the UAE amid the MENA beauty and personal market boom.

The global beauty and personal care market is projected to reach $729 billion by 2026, with the Middle East & Africa region alone valued at $36 billion and expected to rise to $61 billion by the same year, according to market research firm Euromonitor.

Among the countries in the region, the GCC stands out with its high per capita spending of $250 within the category.

Shafin Kalathingal, the founder of Dubai-based Qaadu, expressed delight in introducing the brand to the dynamic Dubai market.

Qaadu, draws inspiration from nature and herbal remedies, reflected in its name, which translates to ‘forest’ in several Indian languages.

The brand has already established partnerships with various pharmacies and hypermarkets across the UAE, including Lulu Hypermarkets, DOCIB Group, Med7, and Aster Group.

Customers can also find products on its official website and popular platforms such as Amazon.ae, Carrefour UAE, Mumzworld, Bevegan, Noon, and more.

Qaadu’s product line encompasses skincare, hair care, bath and body, and wellness essentials. The brand emphasises on formulation, ensuring the highest standards of purity, efficacy, and environmental responsibility.

Shafin envisions Qaadu becoming the go-to brand for health and beauty needs for the whole family.

All products have obtained certifications from The Vegan Society of the United Kingdom, the most respected vegan certification available.

Moreover, the brand manufactures its products in facilities certified under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), with its nutraceuticals and ayurvedic wellness products produced in facilities registered with the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA).

To support its growth, Qaadu has secured favourable investment from an Angel Investor in the oil and gas industry.

The funds will be allocated toward inventory management, product development, and marketing initiatives. The brand has also partnered with non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to drive its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts.
