Dubai Duty Free has named a Canadian national as the new dollar millionaire at the Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise draw, held on Wednesday, August 7 at Concourse C of Dubai International Airport.
Hisham Alshelh, a Canadian national based in Sharjah became a $1m winner in Millennium Millionaire Series 470 with a ticket purchased on July 24 on a trip to Istanbul, Turkey.
Mr. Alshelh is the 10th Canadian national to have won the Millennium Millionaire promotion since launch.

Other prize winners include:
- Priya Somy, a 35-year-old Indian national based in the UAE, who won a Range Rover Sport Dynamic HSE P400 (Santorini Black) car with a ticket purchased on July 18 on way to Delhi, India
- Taalaibek Rysbaev, a 35-year-old Kyrgyz national based in the UAE won an Indian FTR X R Carbon (Blue Candy Carbon) motorbike with a ticket purchased on way to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
