One of the world’s leading logistics groups, PWC Logistics, has re-branded as Agility in a bid to unify its different groups across the globe. The PWC Logistics group of companies, which includes some of the most prominent names in the global logistics industry, including GeoLogistics, TransOceanic, and Trans-Link, announced its rebranding at a special event in Kuwait, in November. The Agility re-branding and its new slogan, ‘A New Logistics Leader’, completes the integration of services across PWC Logistics’ group of companies and reflects the company’s single face to the customer and dedication to personal service.
Agility, which has 20,000 employees across its 450 offices world wide, is publicly traded, and has annual revenues of US$4.5 billion. The company offers a comprehensive portfolio of freight management and customised logistics solutions on a global basis.
“We are very pleased to unveil the new Agility name and branding,” said Tarek Sultan, chairman and managing director, Agility. “Though we have a new name, we are still well known for our rich heritage – PWC Logistics, GeoLogistics, TransOceanic, and Trans- Link among others. With Agility, we have woven our capabilities into a single brand name with one goal – to provide the best, personal customer service possible.”
The word Agility is intended to describe the culture of the organisation, and its speed in responding to customers’ needs. “Within the PWC Logistics group of companies we had many well known and leading logistics brands,” Sultan said. “The new brand name we sought had to describe our character, mission, vision and goals – which was an exceptional challenge because we wanted to convey all of that with just one word.”
The launch announcement of the new Agility brand is the first phase of the plan to move away from the existing names to Agility.
