Egyptian striker Amr Zaki made a late impact for new club Wigan Athletic when he scored a last minute winner in a pre-season friendly against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
Zaki showed plenty of Eastern promise with some good link-up play and the all-important winning goal, sending Wigan fans home with a smile on their face.
In what was a tough test for the Premier League outfit against Championship opposition, they pinned back twice after being in front but it was left to Zaki to steal the show, ahead of Tuesday’s friendly against Scottish club Hibs.
