The GCC Standing Committee on Cybersecurity, in its latest meeting, has reviewed a number of issues related to the field, including the guidebook for standards and policies on cyber threats and security aspects.
The two-day meeting, held virtually early this week, also discussed working papers on global best practices on a number of issues related to cybersecurity and the work of the committee.
The meeting was chaired by Saudi Arabia’s National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), reported SPA.
The meeting also touched on a set of items on the agenda of the GCC cybersecurity committee, within the framework of its main role in enhancing cooperation among the GCC’s member states on issues related to the field.
NCA is the authority for cybersecurity in Saudi Arabia.
The Authority also represents the Kingdom in relevant bilateral, regional and international organisations, bodies, committees and groups, and follows up on the implementation of the Kingdom’s international commitments related to cybersecurity.
