Over 70,000 race fans are set to be welcomed for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in November, this year. An all-time high demand was recorded this year, with record-breaking sales. All tickets are officially sold out with over four weeks left to go for the F1 season finale.
All grandstand and hospitality packages have officially sold out, organisers have confirmed. Yas Marina Circuit’s new stand along the North straight as well as, hospitality options that were added were created to accommodate increased demand, both selling out two months before the event.
Two artists are yet to be announced for the after-race concerts additional to Swedish House Mafia and Kendrick Lamar who have already been confirmed.
“I am delighted to share that all tickets for this year’s Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix have officially sold out, in the fastest ever time since our inaugural event in 2009,” said Saif Al Noaimi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management.
“We are now switching our focus to delivering yet another world-class entertainment weekend for the record number of fans who will travel from around the world to Yas Island in November, with more exciting announcements coming soon,” he added.
Tickets for next year’s race is planned to go on sale earlier to cope with unprecedented demand.
