The Dubai stock market recorded some volatility but remained relatively stable on Thursday. Dubai Financial Market saw Emaar Properties take the top spot in trading, while the Emirates Islamic Bank ended up as the top gainer.
Trading in Abu Dhabi was led by the healthcare index which was the best performer. PureHealth was among the top gainers.
Analysts said while the market remains on a slight uptrend overall, it could continue to see some downside risks in the face of geopolitical tensions in the region.
The market could also react to the developments in oil markets, they said.
Otherwise, the market could continue to benefit from strong local fundamentals, analysts said.
Meanwhile, the Saudi stock market rebounded on Thursday after the previous session’s decline thanks to a strong performance among banks.
