Abu Dhabi has appointed two new deputy rulers.

In his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has issued two Emiri decrees appointing Hazza bin Zayed and Tahnoun bin Zayed as Deputy Rulers.

Sheikh Tahnoun is a National Security Adviser and holds positions in top UAE companies. He is a chairman of FAB and International Holding Company.

Sheikh Hazza holds various positions in the city, serving as chairman of the emirate’s Sports Council and is chairman of First Gulf Bank.

Also on Wednesday, the UAE appointed a new Vice-President.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has issued resolutions, with the approval of the United Arab Emirates Federal Supreme Council, to appoint Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Minister of Presidential Court, as UAE Vice President.

He will work alongside His Highness Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

Meanwhile, the UAE appointed a new Crown Prince, said state news agency WAM.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, has issued an Emiri decree appointing Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Khaled is the eldest son of President Sheikh Mohamed.
