The world’s longest inflatable water slide event, City Slide, will take place during Eid Al Adha on September 25 and 26 at the Dubai Autodrome, organisers have confirmed.
The event will feature two 500-metre long waterslides as well as other attractions like water balloon fights, water guns, aqua rides, a DJ arena and a concert area.
“Summers in Dubai will no more be spent indoor,” said Uttam Kumar, managing director of Tamquest Entertainment, the force behind the event.
“City Slide will surely get everyone on the streets this summer,” he added.
While the waterslide will function in 2-hour time-slots due to the technical limitation of the number of people sliding, it will be open from 11am to 11pm.
The temporary event has already been showcased in countries like Germany, England, Mexico, Spain and France.
Tickets are on sale from PlatinumList.net and range between AED170 ($46) for the waterslides and AED50 for entry without the ride.
