Steeped in a legacy of entrepreneurial brilliance, Abbas Sajwani stands as a prominent Emirati businessman and entrepreneur. Being the son of Hussain Sajwani, the visionary behind the success of DAMAC Group, Abbas has not only embraced this heritage but also charted his own path as the founder and CEO of AHS Group. His strategic and tactical acumen have been central in molding the course and success of his ventures.
Demonstrating entrepreneurial insight and expertise at an early age, Abbas founded the AHS Group, which has quickly grown to encompass three verticals: Ventures, Investments, and Properties. Under his leadership, AHS Group employed over 2,000 individuals, with bold aspirations to emerge as one of prominent conglomerations in the region.
In November 2021, Abbas launched an uber-luxury real estate company, AHS Properties, under the AHS Group umbrella. AHS Properties specialises in developing bespoke mansions and villas for the UNHI and has gained a robust reputation for delivering high-end, customised living spaces that are truly one-of-a-kind. The company boasts a portfolio valued at around $1.5 billion and takes pride in self-financing its projects.
Parallel to his achievements at AHS, Abbas played an instrumental role as a board member of the DAMAC Group. His strategic insights were paramount during the acquisition of the globally revered fashion brand, Roberto Cavalli, in 2019. At DAMAC, Abbas has taken on multifaceted role ranging from facilities management, investments and devising expansionary strategies.
