Natalie has over 25 years’ experience as a global structured finance and financial services lawyer at partner level and, since establishing Oryx Law in 2018, extensive strategic in-house experience at C-suite level.
Natalie was a partner at K&L Gates LLP (Dubai and London) and Simmons & Simmons (Paris, London and Dubai) prior to which she was senior counsel at Clifford Chance LLP (London and Paris). She has held a number of senior law firm management positions, including Co-Head of Simmons & Simmons UAE Finance practice and Head of K&L Gates’ UAE Financial Services and EU Asset Management practices.
Natalie has specific expertise in cross-border structured finance and securitisation, trade finance, Islamic finance and fund structuring, derivatives and MENA financial services regulation. She is known for advising global institutional clients on complex, often ground-breaking transactions and holds numerous executive board appointments for institutional clients as part of her wider role.

Having worked in the Middle East for 15 years, Natalie now splits her time between London and the UAE.
