Dubai’s Landmark Group owner Micky Jagtiani passes away at age 70

The group is behind multiple brands including Babyshop, Splash, Lifestyle, Emax, and more

Micky Mukesh Jagtiani, Chairperson of Landmark Group has passed away at the age of 70.

The billionaire businessman started the empire in 1973 since which it has expanded exponentially with over 50 brands including Babyshop, Splash, Home Centre, Centrepoint, Shoemart, Emax, and more.

Jagtiani made his entry into the business world with a baby item store in Bahrain back in 1973.

The businessman has a net worth of $5.2 billion. His wife Renuka Jagtiani currently runs the Dubai-based firm as Chairman and CEO.

Landmark has 2,200 stores spread across 24 countries in the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent.

He is survived by his three children and spouse who all hold significant positions in the group.

Details regarding his passing has not been revealed yet.
