Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, the sequel to the 2015 Baahubali: The Beginning, has broken box-office records in Indian film history by crossing Rs1,220 million mark (AED90 million) on day one.
The first screening of the magnum opus took place last Thursday in Dubai in the presence of the cast and crew of the movie.

Prabhas, Rana Daggubatti and Anushka Shetty along with director SS Rajamouli and producer Shobu Yarlagadda attended the promotion.
The movie’s preview is the world’s 15th most viewed film trailer and the most viewed Indian movie trailer in 24 hours, having crossed 50 million views.
According to Indian media report, the move has now dethroned Salman Khan’s Diwali 2015 release Prem Ratan Dhan Payo as the highest first day collections of all time. The family drama had collected an estimated Rs393.2 million, followed by Sultan which has now moved down to the No 3 spot with a collection of Rs365.9 million.
