Dubai Bling star Farhana Bodi has postponed her plans to launch an online academy, after a “lack of interest” from fans.

She announced in January that she would be “sharing some of the tips and tricks that I’ve learnt on how to grow through social media.”

When reached for comment, Bodi said the academy has been, “postponed” with new dates to follow soon, although she did not respond to queries regarding a lack of interest in the programme.

Fans who registered earlier this year when the project was launched were directed to a website where she stated: “allow me to teach you how to grow your brand and business through social media.” She added: “Gain 10k-100k followers within next 6 months; get new clients daily with IG reels and make extra $5000 plus per month.”

Fans were then asked to $97 to join a waitlist for the course, which she claimed would take place in January.

However, anyone who registered was contacted at the end of January by “your team at Bodi Academy”, saying “we will be sending you a date in February when she is free.”

“January has been a tough month to do a talk”, fans were told in an email.

Since then, there have been no official updates. A source told Arabian Business: “She thought she could make a fortune by doing this but sadly there has been so little interest from the public. Basically, nobody wants to pay around $100 to listen to someone who appeared on Dubai Bling boasting about how good she is.”
