One week to go: Arabian Business UAE Forum 2022 to spotlight mental health, future of work

The two day Arabian Business event will unpack key issues for industry, featuring thought-leaders and experts to address technology and mental health

With just one week to go before the Arabian Business UAE Forum 2022, registrations for the event have hit record levels.

Two key issues are on the docket for the event, with technology and talent attraction being put in the spotlight. When it comes to talent retention, and attraction, leaders now face the world of the Great Resignation, with workforces increasingly attuned to their mental health, and how the world of employment impacts them.

The Arabian Business UAE Forum 2022, our live event, will dive into this topic for a day of debate as part of its two-day agenda on technology and mental health, on June 28 and 29. The event, which features KPMG Lower Gulf as our knowledge partners and Tata Consulting Services as a Gold Partner, will spend day one focusing on which technology will win in 2022, but day two, June 29 will open up the discussion around what remains a highly-stigmatised subject in many offices.

Chris Haill, of the newly-minted mental health advocacy Mindforce Dubai, supported by Dubai Police, will share his powerful story while other sessions will focus on why boardrooms need to take mental health seriously, moderated by special guest, top charting mental health podcaster Ally Salama of EMPWR.

We’ll look at how businesses can implement mental health in the workplace with a session led by Bobbi Hartshorne, Chief Wellbeing Officer, WellWise, who unpack the issues with best-selling author Andy Fieldhouse of The Team Space, and Paul Firth, Founder & Managing Director – ICAS MENA.

The final session of the day will dive into ‘the ROI of mental health’ in conversation with Dr Saliha Afridi, Clinical Psychologist, Founder & Managing Director of The LightHouse Arabia.
