Sharjah Ruler allocates AED21mn for Al Mansour Fort Restoration compensation

Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved AED21 million in compensation for property owners affected by the Al Mansour Historic Fort restoration project in Khorfakkan’s East District.

The compensation will be distributed among 29 individuals whose properties are impacted by the restoration efforts.

Mohammed Al Nazer, the official spokesman for the Sharjah Planning and Survey Department, announced this directive during an appearance on the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority’s ‘Direct Line’ programme.

The Al Mansour Historic Fort restoration project is part of Sharjah’s ongoing efforts to preserve its cultural heritage while ensuring fair treatment of affected residents.
