UAE Ministry of Finance extends Corporate Tax Free Zone feedback deadline

The UAE Ministry of Finance has announced the extension of the deadline for feedback for its Corporate Tax Free Zone public consultation. The new deadline is now on August 9, 2023.

The extension is a reflection of the Ministry’s importance of consulting with stakeholders and the business community on the initiative.

Following the implementation of Corporate Tax in the UAE, the Ministry introduced the Consultation Paper to seek feedback and comments on the proposed framework for decisions under the under Ministerial Decision 139 of 2023 in regards to Qualifying Activities and Excluded Activities.

The authority called on for clear and concise comments supported by examples, data or other information.

The initial deadline for submission was set as August 2, 2023 and has now been moved to the following week.
