The UAE Department of Health has issued a health warning over the use of two dietary supplements.

The UAE health authorities have banned the use and sale of “Monster Rabbit” and “King Mood” following a laboratory analysis of the supplements.

A statement published by the DoH said the supplements contained ingredients not mentioned on packaging which can cause serious side effects.

The health alert published on social media said: “DoH strictly prohibits the circulation or usage of these two dietary supplements due to the presence of substances that can cause harmful side effects.”

It went on to advise any person experiencing side effects to seek immediate medical attention.

The UAE Department of Health alert said: “The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi alerts the public not to buy or consume the two dietary supplements ‘Monster Rabbit Honey’ and ‘King Mood’ as the laboratory analysis conducted by the Department revealed that these products contain pharmaceutical ingredients that were not declared on the products’ packaging, which can cause serious side effects.

“The community is advised to seek immediate medical attention in the cases of consuming either of the two dietary supplements and are experiencing any adverse effects”.
