Saudi Arabia executed two men, a Yemeni and a Saudi, for murder on Friday, according to a Ministry of Interior statement.
The Yemeni man was found to have thrown acid at another man, killing him, while the Saudi strangled another man to death over a dispute.
Both confessed to their crimes, according to the ministry statement. The death sentences were approved by the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court.
At least 43 people have been beheaded in the kingdom so far this year, including almost 30 in August alone, according to statements from the ministry.
