CEO of UAE telco du, Osman Sultan, will give the keynote address at today’s Arabian Business forum, which takes place at the JW Marriott Marquis.
In a forum that will focus on the digital industry, and the growing importance of e-commerce, Sultan will also take part in a conversation with renowned broadcaster and chairperson of ITP, Andrew Neil.
The first panel discussion of the morning – on the topic of ‘Disrupting corporations from within’ – will talk about if companies are ready to face the implications of digital change. The panel of experts will discuss how organisations can take concrete steps to pave the way for a digital future.

The panel will discuss what the underlying reasons are for this gap and why should anyone take the risk associated with venture investing.

The rise of e-commerce is the topic for the third panel discussion, which will talk about the flurry of activity this year in the regional e-commerce space, with new entrants launching, buy-outs, JVs and rumours abound. The debate will talk about what challenges stand in the way of further growth; If scale is key and what niches can still be exploited? The panel will also reveal where do the next opportunities lie.
