Jordanian mobile operator Fastlink has embarked on the fourth stage of its Oracle implementation.

Jordanian mobile operator Fastlink has embarked on the fourth stage of its Oracle implementation.

Phase four of the Oracle E-Business Suite deployment involves enterprise planning and budgeting, procurement contracts and asset tracking.

Following its completion, Fastlink will move on to stage five, which the company said would cover the implementation of Oracle’s CRM system.

The operator started the project in October 2003, with phase one including the implementation of Oracle Financials, Oracle Supply Chain, and integration of Oracle with Fastlink’s point of sales system.

The second phase involved the deployment of Oracle’s HR management system, while the third phase, which went live last December, involved the implementation of advanced applications such as Oracle iProcurement, Oracle iStore, Oracle iRecruitment and Oracle iSupplier.

Benefits of the implementation include reduced administration and a reduction in cycle time, the operator said.
