Bolt expands services with Dubai Taxi airport fleet

Travellers arriving at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) can now book taxis directly via the Bolt app

Bolt, the global mobility platform, has announced a significant partnership with Dubai Taxi Company, introducing approximately 900 airport vehicles to its ride-hailing service.

The collaboration enables travellers arriving at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) to book taxis directly through the Bolt app, offering a streamlined transportation solution.

“Dubai has long been at the forefront of adopting smart city technology, and this strategic partnership with Bolt reflects the growing collaboration between the two entities. With DTC’s commitment to offering a superior travel experience aligned with global best practices that enhances the well-being of tourists and visitors, the provision of yet another e-hailing service on the platform is a huge step in enhancing and expanding digital transportation services,” Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi Company said, according to an emailed statement.

The fleet includes standard airport taxis, pink taxis for families and women, and vehicles designed for people of determination.

This expansion supports the Roads and Transport Authority’s (RTA) goal of shifting 80 percent of taxi trips to online booking.

Travellers can now benefit from advance booking, upfront fare transparency, and direct access to Dubai Taxi vehicles at both airports.

The partnership aims to strengthen Dubai Taxi’s position in the transportation sector and support the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

Interested users can download the Bolt app on iOS and Android to start booking airport rides immediately.
