The Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) has embarked on a campaign to promote its services at the emirate’s shopping malls, as part of its plans to boost passenger numbers going forward.
“The promotional program is focused on marketing DTC’s services i.e. Airport Taxi, VIP Taxi, Special Needs Taxi, Hala Taxi, Ladies & Families Taxi, Hybrid Taxi, In-Safe Hands Taxi, Hatta Taxi and the Public Taxi in addition to the newly launched School Transport Service. Shopping malls currently covered by the campaign include the Jumeirah Beach Center, Arabian Center, and Dubai World Trade Center. Preparations are made to promote the services in other centres, such as Al Ghurair Center, in order to offer handy services that meet all the needs of our customers,” said Abdullah Ibrahim Al Meer, director of business development at DTC said.
The DTC is aiming to attract more than 80 million passengers in 2015, with its fleet of 4512 cabs representing around 47.2 percent of all cabs in the emirate. DTC is also carrying out a public awareness campaign through media interviews, social media channels and distributing brochures and leaflets at metro stations and airports.
