Hotelier Middle East is seeking submissions for its inaugural Women in Hospitality’ power list.
The list comes following some criticism that there are no women included in the annual Hotelier Middle East’s annual Power 50 list.
The number of women in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) hospitality sector may be set to increase. While the region has lagged behind, more mature markets such as Europe have acknowledged that gender diversity is an issue and has evolved to recognise it as an important element in the operations of any successful organisation.
Far-reaching initiatives to promote female representation in the workforce are beginning to receive backing from the private and public sectors, and this is having a positive effect on the hospitality industry throughout the Middle East.
The Hotelier Middle East list will pay homage to the women at the top of their careers working in the hospitality industry in the region.
If you would like to make a submission for inclusion on the list, please fill out the survey here.
