Air Arabia announces extra Dammam flights

Sharjah-based carrier will add seven extra flights to Saudi city from January 17.

Low-cost carrier Air Arabia has announced it will increase the number of its flights from Sharjah to Dammam to meet growing demand.The budget airline will offer seven extra flights to the Saudi city from January 17, it said in a statement on Monday.

Air Arabia currently provides roundtrip flights seven times a week between King Fahad International Airport in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia and its hub in Sharjah, as well as flying to Riyadh, Jeddah and Madinah.

The carrier’s extra flights will depart Sharjah daily at 8am, arriving in  Dammam at 8.20am. Return flights will depart Dammam at 9am and arrive in Sharjah at 11.10am.

“Meeting the needs of our customers is Air Arabia’s highest priority,” said AK Nizar, head of commercial department, Air Arabia. “We launched our services to Madinah in September 2009, and we are proud to expand Air Arabia’s existing services to Damman.”
