Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah in Istanbul has launched a new ‘Four Legged Luxury’ menu to offer hotel guests’ pets a pampering experience.

A new in-room dining menu has been specially developed for pets, with veterinary approval, to ensure pets are offered nutritious, tasty meals.

Menu items include salmon and chopped fillet of beef and all dishes are prepared without any seasoning or bones to ensure they are healthy for pets.

Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah is committed to helping local animals and recently partnered with an animal welfare charity to raise funds for a nearby animal shelter.

The project, ‘My Tiny Love’ raised awareness around the number of abandoned and stray animals living in shelters.

It generated funds by photographing 15 Turkish celebrities with their pets in glamourous locations around Pera Place Hotel Jumeirah.

On the back of the project, Royal Canine pet food brand donated three tonnes of dog and cat food to the shelter.

Last week, Arabian Business reported that expat entrepreneur Sanjiv Dihman has opened My Second Home resort, which is said to be the biggest indoor pet resort in the world.

With plans to open a second resort in the UAE this year, the $2.7 million property is spread across 5800 metres in Dubai Investment Part 2 and two-thirds of it is indoors.
