What is your company’s mission and what role does AI play in this mission?
ONPASSIVE Technologies is an AI IT company which depends on a SAAS applications software model and services. We offer different products and services, all which are disruptive and unique, and what we aim to bring into the market.
Our vision is to uplift humanity through all our programmes and applications that are enriched with AI. All our products and services are backed by AI technology. In AI, we have our AI technical hub in Hyderabad, India which boasts over 650 staff.
We have a dedicated department for AI which includes more than 50 engineers and specialists in AI and in at our headquarters in Dubai, we are building a new AI/IT AIML department so we will have different sectors in different places.
Our dedicated department has all the resources to make all our products unique and today, we are one of the biggest players in the market with our products which are the lowest priced in the market and which offer unlimited features. We are going to have 20 to 30 products in the market soon and are expanding into many countries. We already have offices in Singapore, Egypt, and the US.
What do you mean by disruptive?
Disruptive means something revolutionary with different features that nobody else offers. For example, our current product in the market is OCONNECT, which is one of the most advanced audio/video web conference programmes. With this programme, you can host an unlimited number of attendees with an array of features that are speech to speech.
This essentially eliminates the language barrier between people. So, if one person is in China and another person is in the US, using this programme, they will automatically be able to understand one another. This is what we mean by disruptive revolutionary products with unlimited hours, unlimited attendees, alongside the lowest price in the market.
We have another product coming very soon in the pipeline called OTRACKER which provides you an in-depth traffic analysis for everyone visiting your site with many more advanced features than what currently exists in today’s market.
What is unique about the AI your company offers and how does it benefit society?
ONPASSIVE Technology’s main objective is to innovate. Across all our offerings, ONPASSIVE offers three distinct categories which includes ‘standard’, or the normal features. The second is above the market features and the third is our ‘wow’ category which is only for ONPASSIVE. This category of products was created based on market research which analysed what was not available in the market at that time. These ‘wow’ features are completely enriched with AI.
At ONPASSIVE Technologies, we strongly believe in AI ethics which essentially means that everything should protect the people. Our primary aim during our inaugural participation at GITEX Global in Dubai was to position ourselves within one of the most advanced markets and increase our visibility.
We enthusiastically embrace the opportunity to engage in collaborations across various sectors, given Dubai’s status as the ideal gathering point. Dubai, renowned as the world’s smartest city, has placed AI at the heart of its operations, echoing the overarching theme of GITEX Global.

AI is a rapidly evolving field. How does ONPASSIVE Technologies stay at the forefront of innovation?
The slogan at GITEX Global Dubai this year is AI in everything, and while some people have a fear that this rapidly growing sector implies job loss, however, AI is not about replacing jobs; you create more jobs. There is no replacement of the human being, never.
Therefore, while AI is rapidly growing with increased productivity, new jobs are entering; some of which include AI specialist, AI technician, AI engineers, and AI programmers. Many universities are establishing separate AI departments.
As we know, the only constant in life is change and AI supports this adaptation and improvement. Of course, as is the case with anything, people can see things in a positive way or a negative way but ultimately, we will have to adopt to AI in a professional and positive way.
This is our ONPASSIVE strategy; creating positive technology that uplifts humanity. We focus on the people and we believe that we can enrich lives with AI. And now, as everyone in the world owns a smart phone, we are aiming to familiarise the full spectrum of people, from the educated to the uneducated, about AI and aim to reach everyone.
How has artificial intelligence revolutionised specific industries, particularly in healthcare, finance, and manufacturing?
All fields, for example in communications, there are already AI reporters being used who are providing coverage and support with the ability to reply to you. We are in the process of having our own AI robot. Also, the hospitals already include chatbots through which you can book your appointment via AI.
In fact, the healthcare sector is very demanding for AI but is the most important for IT especially with communications. AI is making its mark across various sectors, with tangible examples in everyday technology.
For instance, modern smartphones employ AI for tasks like facial recognition. When you interact with chatbots, you are essentially engaging with AI, as it formulates responses to your queries. Even in online banking, virtual assistants streamline the user experience, again courtesy of AI.
AI’s influence isn’t limited to one industry: it’s pervasive. The manufacturing sector, for instance, has embraced AI as evidenced by many large-scale production lines which now incorporate AI-driven robots, streamlining specific processes and yielding a range of benefits. AI’s predictive capabilities are invaluable, resulting in cost savings and risk mitigation.
Another example is the installation of cables, where AI can provide detailed analysis, make informed decisions, and, consequently, reduce waste, cut costs, and minimise downtime. AI’s impact spans across diverse fields, revolutionising the way we operate and make decisions.
As the COO, what is your personal vision for the future of the company and the role it will play in the broader AI ecosystem?
ONPASSIVE aspires to become the preeminent global company in the realm of AI and IT. Our philosophy is Once we reach to ONE TOP, we invent NEW TOP. Our current participation at GITEX Global in Dubai marks one of these significant achievements, and I am delighted by our inaugural success here.
