Beirut-based open-air venue Seven Sisters has opened in Dubai at the JW Marriott Marquis, overlooking the Dubai Canal.
Inspired by natural elements, the laid-back lounge represents the sun, moon, stars, sky, water, wind and flora, which have all been incorporated into different aspects of the venue, from the interior design to the food and live entertainment.
As for its menu, it boasts a modern take on Mediterranean cuisine with Asian influence, with a range of starters including sea bass ceviche and tuna tartare, as well as mains of short rib yakitori and black cod with gnocchi.
The opening took months of planning and preparations, according to founder and CEO of Seven Management Rabih Fakhreddine, who claimed the venue has ‘one of the most beautiful sunset views’.
Seven Sisters offers live music from resident DJs Megatronik, Patch and Margo, playing a mix of house tunes and club classics.
Every Tuesday, it will feature regional soul singer Layla Kardan.
Seven Sisters has opened in collaboration with Bulldozer Group, headed by founder and managing director Evgeny Kuzin, responsible for openings such as Novikov, VIP Room and Movida.
It will be open daily from 5pm to 3am.
The lounge was originally launched in Lebanon in 2015 as a trendy and luxurious concept with live music and entertainment.
