On Thursday morning, rains hit Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, and other parts of the UAE.
Following this, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued yellow and red alerts.

Heavy rain accompanied with hail and lightning over Al Rams in Ras Al Khaimah were reported at 7.40 AM on Thursday. Heavy rain was also reported in Umm Al Quwain, whereas light rain was reported across Dubai.
Skies in the Emirates are expected to alternate between partly cloudy and cloudy over various regions.
These conditions will be accompanied by clouds capable of producing rain at varying intensities and occasional thunder. Rain is also expected on Friday.
Temperature drop in the UAE
The UAE is bracing for a decrease in temperatures.
On average, temperatures are forecast to hover in the low 30s, with maximum temperatures peaking at 39°C and minimum temperatures potentially falling to 19°C.
Currently, Dubai reports a temperature of 29°C under overcast skies. According to the NCM, maximum humidity is projected to reach 85 percent.
Strong winds are expected to persist, blowing at speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h and occasionally reaching up to 60 km/h.
As for conditions in the Arabian Gulf, they are expected to vary from moderately calm to rough at times, particularly as cloud activity intensifies, as stated by the NCM.
