Prince William, second in line to the throne, has announced his engagement to long-term girlfriend Kate Middleton ahead of what will be the largest royal wedding since that of Princess Diana and Prince Charles
The couple, who met at university in Scotland, will get married in either the Spring or Summer of next year and continue to live in North Wales while Prince William works as an air sea rescue pilot for the RAF. n
