The Nielsen Global Consumer Confidence Index was for Q4 2013

The survey looked at confidence among shoppers during the fourth quarter of 2013 in a number of countries worldwide. The following are the top ranking countries. The global average was a score of 94.

Indonesia: Index Score and change since the previous quarter: 124 (+4)

India: Index Score and change since the previous quarter: 115 (+3)

Philippines: Index Score and change since the previous quarter: 114 (-4)

China: Index Score and change since the previous quarter: 111 (+1)

UAE: Index Score and change since the previous quarter: 110 (-1)

Brazil: Index Score and change since the previous quarter: 110 (+1)

Thailand: Index Score and change since the previous quarter: 109 (-3)

Denmark: Index Score and change since the previous quarter: 105 (+2)

Hong Kong: Index Score and change since the previous quarter: 105 (-1)

Peru: Index Score and change since the previous quarter: 102 (+8)

Saudi Arabia: Index Score and change since the previous quarter: 101 (+4)

New Zealand: Index Score and change since the previous quarter: 100 (+3)

Canada: Index Score and change since the previous quarter: 100 (+3)
