Turkish plane crash


Dutch aviation officials said a Turkish Airlines Boeing 737-800 with 127 passengers and seven crew members aboard crash-landed in a field at Schiphol International Airport, breaking into three pieces upon impact, CNN reported. Most of the injured were Turkish, officials said. (Getty Images)

Another 78 passengers suffered injuries, 25 seriously hurt, with both crew and passengers among the victims. Officials saif it was still too early in the investigation to speculate on a cause for the crash. (Getty Images)

A passenger told NTV Turkey that most of the injured were gathered in the rear section of the plane, the area that sustained the most damage, while other passengers said some of them simply walked off the plane through the cracks in the fuselage. (Getty Images)
